I have suffered from NSIP for four years, with IPF (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis). It changed my life dramatically as I could not walk up the stairs or travel on the airplane because of this condition. I cough often, and I have difficulty breathing normally. I need oxygen time after time. And I had been almost to a terminal phase. My doctor is an expert in this field in Hong Kong, and he has tried everything, but I didn’t get better. I tried with different doctors, but it is the same. My last check-up was in July 2017; my FCV was only 50%.
FCV: Forced Vital Capacity
FEV1: Forced Expiratory Volume
The standard value for the FEV1/FVC ratio is 70% (and 65% in persons older than age 65)
My friend, Eyvonne Lam, told me about Bioqr™ therapy; she is a Module B therapist. After the first cycle of treatment, I breathed better and felt better. After the third cycle, I could go upstairs without coughing, so I went for a check-up in August 2019. My FVC ratio is back to 63% and FEV1 to 70%. The doctor was astonished when he read the report. All my CT scans and the blood check-up showed I was getting much better, and the doctor was very happy for me.
I didn’t take any medication or other forms of treatment. The doctor decided not to give me other medicines as he didn’t want to interfere with my progress. I am continuing with Bioqr™ therapy treatment as I want to be back to everyday life.
