Three weeks ago my 75-year-old mother Marija Šaban got sick of COVID-19. She had to be in self-isolation. My cousin Tihana Ceković (student –Module A) immediately contacted Mrs. Andrea Horvatić and mummy agreed to start with distance biotherapy.
During the period of the first three days, it wasn’t so bad. She had a fever of 38 degrees Celsius and she managed to put it down with medicaments using paracetamol. After this first period, she started to feel horrible nausea and couldn’t eat at all. On the seventh day, her doctor gave her antibiotics after which she started to feel worse. At that point, biotherapy helped her a lot with nausea and sleeping.
In between the first and second sessions, she got diarrhea which exhausted her completely and we were very worried for her. However, Andrea started with the second session of biotherapy after which my mother felt much better. Mrs. Andrea focused biotherapy on lung protection including respiratory complications and that was a good decision because it worked well. Mother still coughed but it was a minor problem for her. Nausea was almost all gone every time after the treatment and diarrhea completely stopped. Also, every time right after treatment mum fell deep asleep. She received two sessions each consisting of four treatments once a day that took place for four days. The high temperature was under control but still slightly present every day.
After the second session, she overall felt much better. The only problem was dehydration on the 12th day but after she drank enough she started to feel much better. She got out of the bad after 14 days in few more days she could do almost everything. After this nightmare, full of stress and panic attacks, because no one could be with her due to COVID-19 infection, we are all exceptionally grateful for Andrea’s treatments. Using biotherapy she helped my mom with all the side effects of that horrible disease and protected her lungs from pneumonia and respiratory problems. Thank you Andrea and thank you Tihanafor all your help along the way of everyday recovery.
