2 June 2015, Tuesday – Anthony, a happy and healthy 16-year-old was riding his Vespa and he is hit from the back by a car traveling at high speed in excess of 120km/hour in the Grenoble, France. He was flung many meters away and his helmet was broken and his head hit the road. He was taken to hospital and remained in a coma for 2 days. The doctors were not optimistic about the condition of his brain and estimated that he would remain in the hospital for at least 2-3 months.
Ivan Roca was in Hong Kong and began distance Bioqr™ therapy on him on Thursday and Anthony emerged from his coma on Friday morning French time. As his jaw was dislocated the doctors did not think he could eat for a long time. Anthony actually started to eat liquidized food on Saturday.
There was also a large and deep wound measuring about 4×6 cm on Anthony’s back. The nurse could insert her 3 fingers inside the wound to clean it. A month later the wound has completely healed and closed up.
8 days after the accident, Anthony was discharged and returned home to recover. He has no memory of the accident and seems and is functioning normally. He seems to have trouble with the notion of time.
