On October 17, 2014, I had a stroke.
I was in Hong Kong.
I was hospitalized at the Saint Paul Hospital for more than one week.
The clot clogs up the speech center in my brain (sorry, if the description is not scientific, I’m not a doctor…). I couldn’t speak and write anymore. The neurologist told me that the damages in my brain were irreparable. For him, it would be very difficult and would take a long time to recover the power of speech and writing.
A few days after I left the hospital, I attended biotherapy sessions conducted by Ivan Roca.
I didn’t know exactly what was it, but, as I didn’t have anything to lose in that experience I tested it.
Ivan didn’t promise to me anything – Ivan is neither a « guru » or a “magician” – but he explained to me the benefits of biotherapy to improve my brain activity. During the treatment, I didn’t feel any special reaction to my body (or head) nor I did observe any ” miracle”. I just felt additional tiredness in the complement of the one I had after the hospital!
Exactly as Ivan had predicted it at the beginning of the therapy.
This tiredness lasted the next two days after the treatment.
After, I felt exactly the opposite; I recovered a part of my energy. I was again active. I was able to follow the simple advice of Ivan to recover my capacity to speak and to write. And now, I speak, better and better, and write, better and better, even in English, which is not my mother’s language (as you can see it).
In conclusion, there is no doubt that Ivan helped me to recover the force and capacity to come back to normal life.
There is no miracle on that: to recover, I had to work hard, to be able to work hard, I had to get back the capacity to do it. The biotherapy helped me to get back my energy as it helped me to activate the flow of blood in my head, necessary to restart the cerebral activity.
